Patrick Eaken Most Clay coaches believe the competition in the Northern Lakes League will be similar to the Three Rivers Athletic Conference, but a little more balanced. “I’m excited about it. I think it is going to be good for our school,” said Clay athletic director Mark Beach. “While I’m excited, we’ve won 25 championships in the 10-year run in the TRAC. That is going to be a tough challenge in this new conference. Just in sheer volume of teams, it is going to be a deeper league, so you’re going to earn a league title because you are going to wade through a lot of tough teams. ....
