The Philadelphia Eagles signed undrafted rookie free agent tight end Jack Stoll following the 2021 NFL Draft. They also reportedly gave him the highest amount of guaranteed money from this year’s UDFA class. In order to learn more about Stoll, I reached out to SB Nation’s Nebraska blog:
1) Can you recap his college career?
Jill: Jack Stoll was a four-year contributor for the Huskers, playing in all 12 games as a freshman and starting every game of his sophomore and junior seasons. He started one game as a senior and was injured, limiting him to a role coming off the bench for the final six games. In his two seasons as a full-time starter, he was very consistent, reeling in 21 receptions and 245 yards as a sophomore and 25 receptions for 234 yards as a junior. However, hi

Nebraska senior offensive lineman Brenden Jaimes has been invited to participate in the 2021 NFL Combine, making him the only Husker to get the coveted invite. Jaimes was a stalwart at left tackle for the Huskers, making over 40 consecutive starts (a school record) including nine starts as a true freshman.
From the NFL.com website:
The NFL released the list of 323 prospects invited to participate in the 2021 NFL Scouting Combine, which will have a different format this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. See the breakdown of invitees by school.
The combine will be in a virtual format this year, with physical workouts taking place at a school’s Pro Day. Interviews and mental testing will be done virtually and there will be little to no medical exams. NFL teams will be evaluating prospects much differently than they are used to doing and will rely heavily on what they see on tape and what they can learn over Zoom.

HUDSON – An undetermined electrical event sparked a blaze earlier this month at a Felton Street apartment building that left nine people homeless.
Fire officials recently completed their investigation of the Dec. 7 fire at 29-31 Felton St. Fire Chief Bryan Johannes stressed residents should not use extension cords with space heaters. The chief said space heaters draw a lot of power and some extension cords are not rated to carry the amperage of a space heater.
All nine residents of the apartment building were able to escape the fire uninjured. No firefighters were injured during the blaze, which took firefighters from Hudson, Marlborough, Stow and Sudbury about 30 minutes to extinguish.
