A gunman killed a young man and a teenager and injured three others in a quintuple shooting in North Philadelphia Sunday afternoon as part of a violent Mother s Day in the city.
The shooting occurred on the 100 block of East Albanus Street at 4:18 p.m. A 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy who were sitting on a porch were both shot several times and pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old man was also shot once in the right thigh, a second 22-year-old man was shot five times throughout the body and a 21-year-old man was shot once in the left ankle. The three victims were taken to Einstein Hospital and placed in stable condition.

PHILADELPHIA - Gun violence continued to plague Philadelphia on Mother s Day as local authorities reported at least three people were killed and nearly a dozen were injured in shootings across the city.
Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department said a young man was killed when a shooter opened fire on a car with three people inside in North Philadelphia. A second man, a 19-year-old, died later at the hospital. The triple shooting happened just after 1:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of North 21st Street, according to police.
SAN DIEGO
San Diego police are looking for a man who allegedly beat up two men and then fired a gun into their apartment early Wednesday.
Police said a man went to the home on Felton Street south of El Cajon Boulevard in City Heights shortly after 6 a.m. and pistol whipped two victims inside. The assailant was known to the victims, said police Officer Scott Lockwood.
After the assailant left the home, a shot fired from outside the home came through the window and struck a wall inside, Lockwood said. No one was hit.
The two victims were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
