Vestas has secured a 212MW turbine order for a wind project in Brazil. Vestas will supply Omega Energia with turbines for the Assurua 4 project, located in the cities of Gentio do Ouro and Xique-Xique, in Bahia. The order includes 47 V150-4.2MW wind turbines delivered in 4.5MW power optimised mode and will service the turbines for 10 years. The delivery of wind turbines is planned for the second half of 2022, with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. With this project, Vestas has now exceeded 5GW of orders in the Brazilian market for the V150 wind turbines in 4.2MW standard rating and 4.5MW power optimised modes. ....
