Bristol Borough Police deliver Christmas feast to 25 borough families

BRISTOL BOROUGH Twenty-five families will be sitting down to a Christmas feast this week thanks to the generosity of the Bristol Borough Police Department, the DeCaro Family Giving Fund and Agostino Food Service. Loaded down with food baskets containing all the ingredients needed for a delicious holiday meal, Police Chief Steven Henry and members of the force delivered the meals on Tuesday evening to families that could use a little extra help. âThis is another way we can give back to the community and make a difference during these difficult times,â said Chief Henry. âAs difficult as it is for everyone this year, itâs even more important for us to be acting in a positive light. And our officers like to step up for these things this and taking that extra step.â

Police help give back in Bristol Borough

Still, the department s officers found a way to give back amid the COVID-19 pandemic. On Tuesday night, members of the department presented 25 families in need with holiday baskets which included turkey dinner, desserts and gift cards ahead of the Christmas holiday. “It was very well received, Borough police Chief Steve Henry said. BRISTOL BOROUGH The Academic Oversight Committee (AOC) has had a busy fall and winter season working with the administration and faculty of the Bristol Borough School District and St. Mark School providing academic support to the students attending Bristol Boroughâs public and parochial schools, despite the impact of COVID-19. The AOC is a community oversight board focused on providing academic enrichment. Its mission is to lead and serve the educational community in Bristol Borough to enable each student to grow into an inspired, productive, fulfilled lifelong learner. The AOCâs core focus is to provide essential extra-services not covered by a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant awarded to the Bristol Borough School District by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
