UNK (12-2) has been as high as fourth in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll. A panel of SID’s and head coaches from around the country vote on the makeup of each poll. In the WBCA poll the Lopers tallied 255 points to be behind Central Region members Minnesota-Duluth (No. 6) and Fort Hays State (No. 11). Also represented from the Central are Southwestern Oklahoma State (No. 17), Arkansas Tech (No. 19), and Central Missouri (No. 21) with East Central (Okla.), Emporia State and Sioux Falls each receiving votes.
