Picture: Google OVERGROWN bushes and trees are being cut back along a stretch of railway track in a bid to improve vision for train drivers and prevent branches falling on to tracks. Network Rail was today starting the vegetation management works along the line between Poundbury Road and Bridport Road in Dorchester. Workers will be cutting back large trees, as well as trimming overgrown bushes and branches, with work set to be completed by late March. A spokesman for Network Rail said the work is necessary as large trees growing near the railway ‘have an impact on the stability of embankments and cuttings and can also fall onto the track . ....
