Suspected drunk driver in Neshaminy 4 accident wanted for DUI in Ireland

The 24-year-old Irish citizen accused in a drunk driving crash earlier this year that left four Neshaminy High School students seriously injured had fled his home country where he was awaiting sentencing for leading police on a high-speed chase while intoxicated.
A Northern Ireland county district judge also imposed a driving ban on Shane Brolly in September 2019, after he pleaded guilty to charges including dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, and driving with excess alcohol in his breath.
“You are clearly a menace to road users,” the judge told Brolly before deferring sentencing until he received a pre-sentencing report, according to the Sunday Life, a Belfast newspaper, which has reported on Brolly’s Bucks County arrest. ....

Neshaminy High students find continuing support after Northampton crash

The day after they rescued four seriously injured teenage girls trapped in an overturned burning car, Emily and Michael Lohin started raising money for them.
The Go-Fund-Me page they created has raised nearly $148,0000, so far. The most recent donation was $100 on Monday.
“Never did we think starting a Go-Fund-Me would turn into this,” Emily Lohin said. “We know we live in a strong community, but we did not expect this outpouring.”
Nearly two months after a suspected drunk driver smashed into their car head-on along Bridgetown Pike, the Neshaminy High School juniors continue their recoveries from life-changing injuries.
Meanwhile, the community has kept a spotlight on the girls known collectively as the “Neshaminy 4.” ....
