SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Police Department on Wednesday released body camera footage showing a dramatic effort by three officers performing CPR to save a baby who stopped breathing.
The 4-minute video shows officers Josue Cruz, Luis Delgado and Francisco Luna responding to a 911 call on April 20 to a home in the Mason Square area. The child’s mother called for help after finding her 3-month old son had stopped breathing and was turning blue. ....

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) Police officers in a Massachusetts city have revived an infant who had stopped breathing.
Springfield police said in a Facebook post that three officers responded to a report of a 3-month-old boy who wasn t breathing on Tuesday. They found the mother performing CPR but the boy was motionless and his skin was bluish.
The officers took over life-saving measures, providing CPR and administering oxygen. The boy spit up, regained consciousness, and began breathing on his own after about five minutes, the department said.
The boy was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield for further treatment, but his mother said he was doing well, the department reported. ....
