A LANCASHIRE man has been awarded £26,000 in an out of court settlement after claiming he lost two teeth due to his dentists negligence. Though Steven McKinlay s dentists did not admit liability, he was paid the money in an out of court settlement after saying he suffered excruciating pain when they failed to spot and treat decay and provide adequate root canal treatment. Due to his treatment by Dr Francis Mooney and Dr Eugene Stanley in Burscough which he had visited between May 1990 and May 2015, Mr McKinlay, 36, has already lost two teeth and is likely to lose more in future.
