The Community Planning & Design Initiative Africa (CPDI Africa) 2021 culture-inspired, research-based design competition aims to promote the development of new architectural languages for the African Diaspora that are culturally and environmentally sustainable. Members of the Carrageenan Plant Growth Promoter (PGP) team of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) have emerged as regional winners of the Civil Service Commission’s Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award as part of its 2020 Search for Outstanding Government Workers.

The PNRI announced that the five members of its team got the award in the regional level.
“Congratulations to the members of the Carrageenan Plant Growth Promoter (PGP) team, who were among the Regional Winners for the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award as part of the Civil Service Commission 2020 Search for Outstanding Government Workers!,” it said In a Facebook post.
