Cabinet Committee Reviews Security of Sikh Pilgrims and PSL 6
Lahore, February 18, 2021 (PPI-OT): A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order was held at the Civil Secretariat under the chairmanship of Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat. Provincial Minister for Population Col. Hashim Roger, Provincial Minister for Labour Ansari Majeed, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Additional IG Punjab and1 concerned officers were also present. The Divisional Commissioners, Regional Police Officers and district officers gave a briefing through video link. The meeting reviewed in detail the security arrangements regarding the arrival of Sikh pilgrims at their holy places and Premier Super League 6 cricket matches.
Revised crime & investigation data collection tool approved

PESHAWAR: Inspector-General of Police Sanaullah Abbasi on Tuesday approved a revised crime and investigation data collection tool prepared by the office of Additional IG Investigation for improving the quality of investigations.
He gave the nod while chairing a meeting of all Regional Police Officers (RPOs) and SP Investigations of the districts which reviewed the performance of the Police Department in investigations.
The IGP issued directions for implementation of these new detailed data collection practices across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The measures are expected to help police in better data analysis, evidence-based decision making, performance management and accountability.

Peshawar, February 03, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi presided over a meeting, held with the Regional Police Officers via Video link today, to review law and order situation in the province.
Regional Police Officers (RPOs) gave detailed briefings to the IGP KP about the law and order in their respective regions. They informed the IGP KP about the steps taken to maintain law and order, countering terrorism and action taken under the National Action Plan (NAP) during the last month.

Six AIGs were transferred in first reshuffle in April

Punjab Police went through a massive reshuffle during 2020 as hundreds of policemen from the rank of Inspector General of Police to constable rank were transferred or surrendered before the Establishment Division.
A few of the notable transfers included former IGP Shoib Dastaghir, former CCPO BA Nasir, former CCPO Zulfiqar Hameed, DIG Shehzada Sultan, SSP Liaqat Malik, SSP Zeeshan Asghar, SP Asim Iftikhar, SP Anoush Masood Chaudhry.
The first major reshuffle in 2020 was made on April 14. At least six additional inspector generals (add IGs), two Regional Police Officers (RPOs), 13 deputy inspector generals (DIGs) and two senior superintendents of police (SSPs) were transferred and posted.
