Cyble appoints Regional cybersecurity expert Shenoy Sandeep

Alpharetta [Georgia], May 31 (ANI/Digpu): Cyble, an AI-powered, Y Combinator-backed, cyber threat intelligence company that empowers organizations with darkweb and cybercrime monitoring and mitigation services, today announced that regional cybersecurity expert Shenoy Sandeep has joined Cyble as the Regional Director -Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META).
This news follows Cyble s recent announcement of a USD 4 million seed financing led by Blackbird Ventures and Spider Capital, with participation from Xoogler Ventures, Picus Capital, and Cathexis Ventures. Shenoy brings over 13 years of experience in cybersecurity, having advised some of the most critical organizations in the region. The Hambantota International Port (HIP) will partner Intertek Lanka (Pvt) Ltd to establish a state-of-the-art petroleum testing laboratory which will be unique to Sri Lanka. Through this facility, Intertek will provide innovative and bespoke assurance, testing, inspection and certification services.
Johnson Liu, CEO of HIPG says, “HIPG has great potential in energy services due to its location in the Indian Ocean rim, where 50% of the world’s maritime oil is traded. Our oil fuel bunker, LPG and future LNG operations are sure to cement HIP’s position as an energy hub in the region.”
In a virtual ceremony held this week, HIPG and Intertek Lanka (Pvt) Ltd signed an agreement for a 10-year partnership, which provides Intertek the opportunity to establish its services in the port.
