Casselton, ND- It was a matchup between two top ten programs in the state as the Grafton Spoilers traveled to the (7-1) Central Cass Squirrels. The Spoilers (8-1 overall) would win the game 47-45 in overtime to make it five straight victories against the Squirrels.
Central Cass (7-1 overall) was lead by Max Kobbervig with 11 points and a clutch shot to tie the game with seconds left in regulation.
The Spoilers were paced by Brandon Albrecht and Justin Garza who had game-highs of 13 points.
Next up for Central Cass, they will play Carrington on Saturday afternoon while the Spoilers will host Larimore High School on Jan. 21st @ 6:00 p.m.
Jaidyn Dennien has been a consistent performer for United.
The super boot forward was on fire this year, hitting the scoresheet 11 times to finish equal first on top of the clubâs goalscoring list alongside Sam Bradshaw.
Dennien managed her 11 goals despite making three less appearances than Bradshaw. Sammie Sutton, Tiahni Webber, Courtney Cross and Zoe Morrison were also standouts for the Premier Women in their delayed season.

Coach Joel Albion said: âShe was the captain of the team. It was her second year playing for the Gympie ladies, and this year she really stepped up when we needed her to. She was really important for us.â
