After an eight-year NFL career, former Broncos safety T.J. Ward is hanging up his cleats.
The two-time Pro Bowler was an instrumental part of one of the finest secondaries in NFL history as part of the No-Fly Zone alongside Darian Stewart, Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr. and Bradley Roby, a group that helped power the Broncos to a championship in Super Bowl 50.
I am honored and blessed to have completed 8 NFL years! Ward said in a statement. Second round draft pick, all-rookie team, all-pro, pro bowler and Super Bowl 50 champion. The journey has been amazing!
After being drafted by Cleveland in the second round and spending four years with the Browns, Ward arrived in Denver in 2014 as a free agent, joining DeMarcus Ware, Emmanuel Sanders and Talib to form one of the best free agency classes in recent memory. As a Bronco, Ward burst onto the scene and earned a Pro Bowl selection on the back of a 74-tackle, two-sack, two-interception season. A hard-hitter ....

T.J. Ward, a member of the Denver Broncos’ famous “No Fly Zone” secondary, announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday.
The former Oregon Ducks’ star was a member of the Broncos’ team that captured Super Bowl 50 and he was also a two-time Pro Bowl selection during an eight-year career. Ward made the announcement on an Instagram post Wednesday morning.

I am announcing my official retirement from the National Football League. I look forward to continuing to become the best father and person that I can be, to continue to create impact in my communities through my foundation. I salute to the ending of a chapter, but I am excited for all that we will achieve ahead!” ....

The 6-2 defensive back has been in the spotlight since his days at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla. As the other corner opposite Patrick Surtian II, Campbell’s skills have always been undervalued due to the talent found around him. 
That s fine for Houston. It could be a steal. 
Campbell was a three-year starter under defensive wiz Kirby Smart in Athens. During the span, he s played both on the outside and in the slot depending on the matchup.
The 2020 season was a down year overall for Campbell when playing in zone coverage. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed five touchdowns on 30 receptions in 40 targets. However, Campbell did allow just 340 receiving yards and was physical against his opponents.  ....
