Ravi Varma, a known face in the Telugu industry, and having made his mark in Bollywood with popular Hindi films like Saaho and The Ghazi attack. (India’s first Submarine war film) is currently his entry into Sandalwood. The Vennela, Rakhi, and Kshanam actor is in talks for Prajwal Devaraj Mafia, directed by Gurudatha Ganiga, which is currently in the pre-production stage.
“I have got to prove my mettle with versatile roles in various Telugu films, and web series. I have been part of Tamil and Telugu films as well. In the process of my acting career, I started following films made in Kannada. Films like Mungaru Male, Lucia, U-Turn, Thithi, Love Mocktail, Kavaludaari, are just a few examples that well explains to us the unique flavor brought out in the films made in Kannada.

Actor Chirag Jani is set to make his Kannada film debut with Veeram, Prajwal Devaraj’s upcoming film with director Khadhar Kumar.
He will star as the primary antagonist in the film. Having acted in movies and TV shows in several languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Gujarati, Chirag is excited to make his entry to a new industry.
“I have been wanting to work in Sandalwood. Especially post KGF, Kannada industry has garnered attention across various Industries, and secondly Veeram’s story and the star cast has caught my attention. I heard, a couple of heroes (Srinagar Kitty and Deepak) are essaying villain roles, and I am glad to be sharing screen space with them “ says Chirag.

Prajwal Devaraj’s upcoming film with Ambi Ning Vayasaaytho director Gurudath Ganiga has been titled, Mafia. The first look of the film was also revealed by the makers to mark the occasion of Prajwal’s birthday on Sunday.
Billed to be an action thriller, the first look of the film was launched on social media by actors Shivarajkumar, Vijay Sethupathi and Arya.
The film, bankrolled by B Kumar under his Bangalore Kumar films banner, will have Prajwal donning the khaki yet again after Inspector Vikram. The first look features a bruised and handcuffed Prajwal.
Talking about his second film, Gurudatha Ganige says, “Mafia is about an enthusiastic police officer, who wants to do good to the society, but is caught up in the system.”
