This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to scholarly knowledge on BioPsychoSocial criminology within six years of receiving their doctoral degree. James Du, Ph.D. and Jason Pappas, Ph.D. (College of Education) and doctoral students Carter Floyd and Susmit Gulavani received the Atlantic Coast Conference Center for Research in Intercollegiate Athletics Award for their research project “A Tale of Two Cities: COVID-19 and Student-Athletes’ Psychological Well-Being.” The four will present their findings to ACC athletics administrators in 2021 during the conference’s fall meeting. ....
