BRUNSWICK, Maine Two Maine women are facing charges related to drug trafficking and child endangerment after police served a search warrant at 12 Perryman Drive in Brunswick Wednesday night.
Kim Wentworth, 37, and Amanda Ames, 35, were taken into custody. According to Brunswick police, Wentworth is a resident of 12 Perryman Drive and Ames is from Lewiston. ....

Two Maine women are facing charges related to drug trafficking and child endangerment after police served a search warrant at 12 Perryman Drive in Brunswick Wednesday night.
Kim Wentworth, 37, and Amanda Ames, 35, were taken into custody. According to Brunswick police, Wentworth is a resident of 12 Perryman Drive and Ames is from Lewiston.
The search happened around 10:15 p.m. Two girls who were present at the time were released to other family members, according to police. Police said Maine Child Protective Services were notified and are involved in the investigation.  ....

Police say the 61-year-old jogger was hit head-on by a passing car and was taken to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

BRUNSWICK, Maine A 61-year-old woman was hit by a car while jogging on Church Road in Brunswick Wednesday morning, police say.
According to police, they were called to the scene at 7 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving an SUV and a pedestrian. Police and the Brunswick Fire Department responded.
Police say the woman, identified as Jeanine May of Brunswick, had been jogging on Church Road and was hit head-on by a passing car. She was transported by EMS to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. ....

UPS driver charged with OUI after crashing delivery truck in Brunswick


    BRUNSWICK, Maine (WMTW) A UPS driver has been charged with operating under the influence after crashing his delivery truck on Route 1 near Cooks Corner in Brunswick Wednesday evening.
Police said the truck hit the guardrail, skipped over it and hit the fence on the other side of the walking path that is next to the highway.
There was one passenger inside the truck who was not injured, police said. The truck was otherwise empty at the time of the crash.
No pedestrians were injured, police said.
The driver, John O’Brion, 32, of Lewiston, was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. ....
