Mrs Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, has called for more women inclusion in the appointment and legislative offices, to improve the image and development of the country.
She made the call at the opening ceremony of the South-West Zonal Public Hearing on the Review of the 1999 Constitution organised by the House of Representatives Special Committee, on Tuesday in Lagos.
Onyejeocha, member of, House of Reps Ad-hoc Committee, Review of 1999 constitution, said the current level of women’s inclusion and participation in politics was terribly low.

Mrs Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, has called for electoral and judicial reforms to enhance electoral justice.
She made the call on Tuesday in Lagos at Day Two of the South-West Zonal Public Hearing on the Review of the 1999 Constitution organised by the House of Representatives Special Committee.
The lawmaker is a member of the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Review of the 1999 Constitution.
She said that electoral and judicial reforms remained critical issues in the country, which must be tinkered to address challenges emerging from elections.
According to her, their experiences show that Nigeria’s electoral regime and process are still not perfect. ....
