It has been our long-time demand as we always felt that the subject “cooperation” does not get its due attention on account of being a part of the Agriculture Ministry, said NCUI President Dileep Sanghani to the Indian Cooperative. The virtual meeting which was attended by more than 40 leaders and addressed by Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, reiterated demand for a separate ministry for the cooperative sector. ....
Lockdown fails to stop NCUI from conducting important business GC meeting held last week, another important meeting slated for 11th May NCUI President Dileep Sanghani has asked the apex body of co-operatives in the country NCUI to remain closed in the face of surging cases of Covid 19. “I have asked staff-members not to come to office and do important work from home only”, said Sanghani to Indian Cooperative. The physical lockdown has however not stopped the apex body from carrying its important assignments. It held its Governing Council meeting last week on Zoom, which was presided over by Sanghani. Barring the CE who was down with Covid till last week, almost all the important leaders including Chandra Pal Singh, Bijender Singh and others participated in the meeting. Two-minute silence for the departed souls of Pramod Kumar Singh and VR Patel, was also observed before the GC meeting took off, sources add. ....

Inclined to academics from his student life, Mahajan has several prestigious degrees under his belt. Nursing an ambition to become a Research Scientist, Mahajan had enrolled himself in a Bachelor of Science course in one of the colleges of Delhi University. But the personal incident of his mother falling prey to cancer forced him to study an advanced course of radiation science. I have seen the negative impact of radiation on my mother and I wanted to come up with a method of the same which has lesser evil results, said Mahajan going down memory lane. ....
