Leon soon rose to become the ‘mastermind’ of an 18-man drugs cartel which shipped at least 5kg of cocaine worth around £300,000 across the north west during a six-month period from August 2010 onwards, as well as supplying other gangs in Warrington.

Arsonists target historic hall The historic Bewsey New Hall was targeted by arsonists on the evening of Wednesday, April 21. Three youths were reportedly spotted running away from the scene after the fire broke out at around 8pm. Fire damage could be seen to the exterior of the building, which dates back to the 1860s, the morning after the incident.
