New Mexico COVID-19 deaths hit 4-month low as 3 fatalities reported

ALBUQUERQUE – New Mexico s daily COVID-19 report from the state Department of Health Monday reported a four-month low in fatalities, with three deaths attributed to the disease statewide.  That was the lowest death count since Oct. 29, just before a winter resurgence of the disease caused by the novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.  While recent declines in deaths from the disease are good news for the larger picture, three more New Mexicans lost their lives to the disease Monday, bringing the number of residents lost to 3,811. Their identities, as always, were kept anonymous by the health department, described simply as:  A female Bernalillo County resident in her 80s.
