First elected in Pittsburgh District in 2014, Boehme was the only councillor to be acclaimed in the 2018 municipal election.
“Having been born and raised in Kingston, and now raising five children with my wonderful wife, Jacqueline, I want to bring a new voice to Queen’s Park that will make a positive difference in our community,” Boehme said in a news release about his nomination.
A graduate of Ernestown Secondary School, with a year completed at LaSalle Secondary School, Boehme works as a journeyperson in measurement and communications with Utilities Kingston.
