RINGGOLD, Va. — Today, June 10, deputies and investigators from the Pittsylvania County Sheriff s Office responded to what was reported as a shooting incident to the Pittsylvania County 911 dispatch center at approximately 8:35 a.m. this morning.
The caller reported a shooting incident with injuries had occurred in the 1800 block of Ringgold Road in the Ringgold community of Pittsylvania County.
Peggy Brewer, whom investigators determined was involved in the incident, was charged with the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony as well as malicious wounding.
Ms. Brewer was charged and arrested with the aforementioned charges following her treatment and release from a local medical facility. ....
