Confirmed coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood reaches 7,169 today (Thursday, April 1) | Updated: 09:56, 01 April 2021 Thirteen new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures from Public Health England. Ashfield 9,528 (up 4) Bassetlaw 8,002 (up 12) Broxtowe 7,064 (up 5) Gedling 8,069 (up 7) Mansfield 7,989 (up 11) Newark and Sherwood 7,169 (up 13) Rushcliffe 6,810 (up 4) Nottingham 30,332 (up 10) and Nottinghamshire 54,631 (up 56). In the last seven days there have been 111 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood. This represents a slight increase in cases over the previous seven days. Bingham woman known for her themed trails organises extensive Easter egg hunt for families to enjoy | Updated: 12:12, 01 April 2021 A woman has organised an extensive Easter egg hunt for families to enjoy after already hosting three other trails since October. Sarah Hills, of Bingham, initially created a Halloween hunt for children in the town by asking people to display a pumpkin in their window. Seeing the positive impact it was having, Sarah further organised a Santa and Christmas lights trail as well as a Valentineâs Day hunt â with those involved rising each time.
