CLEVELAND, Ohio Had it not been for the pandemic, theatergoers in Northeast Ohio might be talking about that performance of “The Cher Show” they just saw at Playhouse Square, or making plans to see the Great Lakes Theater’s production of “Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee” at the Hanna this weekend.
Instead, theatres across the region remain dark for the 49th consecutive week. But there is light at the end of the tunnel.

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio Local high school sophomores, parents and prospective adult education students are invited to take an in-person guided tour of Polaris Career Center during Tuesday Tours.
These one-on-one tour opportunities give prospective students and parents an opportunity to explore Polaris’ newly renovated Middleburg Heights campus and get specific high school and adult education enrollment questions answered.

LAKEWOOD, OH The Beck Center for the Arts will premier five 15 minute musicals.
The 15 minute musicals are part of a partnership between the Beck Center and the Baldwin Wallace University Music Theatre Program. Each of the musicals is new and was chosen by the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT), the organization said. Pandemic or no, we were determined that this 10th anniversary of the Beck Center/Baldwin Wallace collaboration
must go on. With the addition of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre as a partner, we could not be more excited to offer the World Premieres of five brand new musicals, said Scott Spence, artistic director for Beck Center.
