A British Columbia barbershop chorus called the Vancouver Thunderbirds have adapted, however, by rehearsing their harmony from a pretty safe spot – their cars. According to local media, the group started rehearsing via Zoom after they could no longer meet in person. Once it became clear the health orders would continue for some time, they decided a different approach was required. The group’s VP told an area reporter that while the Zoom platform works in some instances, unpredictable internet lag would sometimes scupper their practice sessions. A good barbershop chorus, apparently, runs on harmony – something that’s difficult to replicate online. ....
