ST PAUL, Minnesota On Monday morning, Juanita Hoeschen entered Lloyd s Pharmacy in St. Paul and gave owner Jim Stage a huge hug. Good to see you, Stage said.
Hoeschen responded, Good to see you back.
Hoeschen has been a customer at this community pharmacy for more than 50 years. But it s her first time inside the new building. I m so happy they re back. It s beautiful. Very, very nice, she said.

A St. Paul music venue is reopening more than a year after it was damaged during last summer s unrest.
The Turf Club suffered water damage after looters set a fire inside the building. There was significant damage to the club during the unrest, said Andy Holmaas, with First Avenue Productions.
Already shut down due to the pandemic, the popular music venue was hurting. But after looters set fire to the building, sprinklers ran all night, flooding the building and forcing the owners to gut the place and essentially start over.
KSTP It has been an extremely challenging year, Holmaas said.

Thursday, Bole Ethiopian Cuisine opened its doors at a new location and was given an award for its resiliency from the Midway Chamber of Commerce. The reopening and the award comes after the owners lost everything after last year’s civil unrest .
