The remains of the former Minister of Women Affairs and Child Development, Sen. Aisha Jummai Alhassan, would arrive Jalingo, the Taraba State capital from Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday for burial, the family has said.
Media aide to the late former Minister, Mr. Bala Muhammed, told journalists in Jalingo that the corpse of the late Minister and a two-time governorship candidate in Taraba would arrive the State capital Jalingo (her home town) on Sunday morning and burial would take place in the evening, the same day.
Mohammed said funeral prayers will take place at the Emir of Muri’s Palace in Jalingo and burial will take place around 5pm at the Muslims’ cementry in Jalingo. ....

Plans to fly back to Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, the remains of the late former Minister of Women Affairs, Senator Aisha Jumai Alhassan, have been concluded.
DAILY POST gathered that the remains of the former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 general election, who died on Friday in Egypt is due to be flown in to the state tomorrow for internment.
Her media aide, Bala Muhammed, who made this known in a chat with our correspondent, said the corpse of late Aisha who is fondly called Mama Taraba, will arrive in Jalingo on Sunday for burial. ....

The Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Joseph Albasu Kunini, has commiserated with the people Bandawa community in Karim Lamido Local Government Council of the state over the last Monday fire disaster which did not only destroy properties worth millions of naira, but also claimed the lives of two persons.

Hundreds of sympathizers from within and outside Taraba State are already trooping to the family house of the late ex-minister in Jalingo.
