Jeff Grange has been named president of
Tampa Programs, part of Brown & Brown
National Programs, which includes the Dental Protector Plan, Lawyers Protector Plan, Protector Plans for optometrists and physicians, and other professional insurance programs.
Grange replaces Susan Heath who is retiring after a 23-year career at Brown & Brown.
“She has left a mark in Tampa Programs that will forever be admired and respected,” said Chris Walker, president of Brown & Brown National Programs, about Heath.
Grange has more than 30 years of industry experience. Most recently, he was the executive vice president of U.S. operations for Argo Group. His responsibilities included claims, Argo Insurance, Rockwood Casualty Insurance Co., Argo Pro, Argo Cyber, Argo Primary Casualty and Argo Exces ....

Silver, the owners of Leon Silver Associates, LLC (Leon Silver), today announced that a Bridge Specialty Group company and subsidiary of Brown & Brown, Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Leon Silver.
Based in Metuchen, New Jersey, Leon Silver is a wholesale broker offering commercial and personal lines property and casualty insurance products through its network of retail agents in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Connecticut, and Delaware. Global insurance broker Brown & Brown has consolidated its broad wholesale operations under one brand name, Bridge Specialty Group.
As a group, the more than 25 wholesale units place more than $3 billion in premium. Wholesale brokerage total revenues for 2020 increased 13.8%, or $42.7 million, over 2019, to $352.8 million, and this accounts for about 13% of Brown & Brown’s total revenue. The firm also has its major retail insurance division as well as a services division.
