Trending David was born with the surname Williams but changed to Walliams when he joined Equity (formerly the British Actors’ Equity Association) as there was another member called David Williams in the group. Since meeting Matt, David has acted in multiple British sitcoms with the comedian. In 1999, the pair worked together on the sketch comedy series Rock Profile, before later writing and performing in Little Britain from 2003 and 2007.
