On May 21, the store will reopen across the street at 2214 Elliston Pl. in the former William Edge salon space. We love being on the Rock Block, so we’re really happy that we were able to find a spot that’s just a two-minute walk from our current store, Buffalo Exchange Vice President Rebecca Block said in a press release. We re excited to create new memories in a larger space with more room for unique inventory pieces. ....

By Jonathan May 11, 2021 Elliston Place Soda Shop has been through the quite rollercoaster over the last few years. The iconic throwback diner on the Rock Block has been a staple for downtown workers, college students, and concertgoers for years. In 2019 it was bought by new owners with a plan to restore it, but then COVID hit and changed those plans. After closing it s original location permanently, the new owners moved the restaurant next door and just re-opened TODAY with shiny new digs!! Same amazing food and vibe.even better location. The owners installed a shiny new (old) Wurlitzer jukebox, swanky new chrome fixtures, and celebrity signatures. But the menu is still the same - good ol southern cooking, ice cream sundaes, pies by the slice, flavored sodas, and even boozy milkshakes. ....
