ASCA to host breakfast fundraiser to raise money for operational funds
The Amarillo Senior Citizens Association is asking for the community’s help with its operational funds after the association lost its main source of income when it moved from his previous home on the Amarillo College downtown campus to a temporary location. 
ASCA will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Central Church of Christ, 1401 S. Madison St., raising funds to cover various bills, like electricity and water, as well as paying the association’s employees. 
“Since we lost our kitchen where we served meals, which was our main income, we haven’t really had a real income since September,” Barbara Cromer, a member of ASCA, told the Globe-News. “That’s very important that people know that because for us to continue to be able to provide the activities that we do, we need to be able to pay the electric bill, the water bill and that sort of thi ....
