Western Institute plans Lunch and Learn webinars at Silver City Museum Hosted by Western Institute for Lifelong Learning Barry Heifner SILVER CITY – A full slate of Lunch and Learn webinars is set for this spring by the Western Institute for Lifelong Learning in partnership with the Silver City Museum. “Long in the works, the agreement just signed between the Silver City Museum and the Western Institute for Lifelong Learning commences a historic partnership. This natural pairing represents an exciting new chapter in local cultural programming,” according to a museum news release. “The agreement was signed enthusiastically by Museum Director Bart Roselli, WILL President Susan Beck and Silver City Town Manager Alex Brown. This partnership agreement was originally spearheaded by Roselli and Shelby Hallmark, past WILL president.” ....
SILVER CITY - The public can now view the Silver City Museum’s recently released virtual exhibit, Arte Chicano 2020, and will host a panel discussion about it on Sunday, Feb. 21. Arte Chicano is viewable at SilverCityMuseum.Org under On Exhibit Now > Arte Chicano 2020, or directly at www.artechicano.online. This is a virtual iteration of the annual Arte Chicano exhibit celebrating local Chicano artists which participants found has not limited the creative possibilities but expanded them.
