The clarification comes on the backdrop of reports on impact of data breaches in organisations such as Air India, Big Basket and Domino s which claimed that these breaches have exposed email accounts and passwords of NIC emails to the hackers.

Banks to implement digital portals

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has advised all banks to implement digital portals for end-to-end digitalisation of case submission and processing, a statement said on Tuesday.
This move aims to facilitate the business community in Pakistan, promote ease of doing business, enhance operational efficiency and make processing of foreign exchange (FX) related cases cost effective and environment friendly.
In the first leg of its end-to-end digitalisation drive, the SBP launched an online platform - Regulatory Approval System (RAS) to facilitate banks in online submission of FX-related cases to the Exchange Policy Department (EPD) of SBP and the Foreign Exchange Operations Department (FEOD) of the SBP Banking Service Corporation (SBP BSC). Marshall University planning Honor Band to be held online

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) High school band members and teachers can join the Marshall University Honor Band being held online this year.
Participants will rehearse a new piece by composer and educator Robert W. Smith, “Portals,” in a live, virtual setting. They will also be able to attend sessions with Marshall band directors and master classes with Marshall faculty.
The event is set for March 26. Registration is free and can be accessed at www.marshall.edu/band/honorband.
Recordings of the students performing will be edited together and be available online in a concert on YouTube.
