Latest Round of Safe, Respected and Free from Violence Prevention Grants Awarded

NT Government The Territory Government has provided $1.3 million in funding to recipients of the 2021 Safe, Respected and Free from Violence Prevention Grants. The Safe, Respected and Free from Violence Prevention Grants are provided to support localised projects, activities, actions and pilot programs that seek to challenge and change social and cultural attitudes, values and structures that underpin domestic, family and sexual violence. Each year, individual grants of up to $150,000 are available to organisations aiming to contribute towards the development and implementation of good practice, evidence-based domestic and family violence prevention and early intervention activities in the Northern Territory. The grant applications are assessed by an expert panel comprised of government and non-government members.
