Officers say they were doing a routine building check when they found Barry Watts with a large amount of cash and burglary tools. Police says Watts told them he entered the property to get warm, but decided to start taking items after looking around. Officers say Watts also stole a $5,000 camera while burglarizing several businesses. He being held in the Webster County Jail. ....

[email protected] A Fort Dodge man was charged with several counts of burglary and theft Tuesday after police say he stole $1,000 worth of gold teeth in addition to thousands of dollars in cash and property. Fort Dodge Police say Barry Watts, 34, burglarized one Fort Dodge dentist where he stole the gold teeth, a case with children’s toys, a $5,000 camera and a laptop. Criminal complaints estimate damage to five doors at about $1,500. Two other businesses were also broken into early Tuesday morning, where complaints say Watts found an envelope with more than $3,300 in cash. Officers said they could not determine the property stolen from a third business he entered. ....
