Dave Zajac, Record-Journal July 11, 2021 03:00AM By Michael Gagne, Record-Journal staff MERIDEN â The Board of Education last week voted unanimously to terminate the employment of a long-time Lincoln Middle School teacher with whom the board is currently engaged in an ongoing legal dispute. According to court filings, the teacher, Patricia Carnese of Old Saybrook, had filed related lawsuits against the Meriden Board of Education in federal court and in state court in Middletown. The complaints were filed in July and August 2020, nearly a year before the boardâ ....

She said: “We have got windows that are missing because of the heavy wind, water intrusion in some of the classrooms. My son had to wear a mask pretty much all day at camp, said Montgomery County parent Erika Norman when speaking with Fox 5’s Ayesha Khan, Friday. Even though he had a great time, he does mention that it bothers him and that it’s hot because they spend so much time outside and that is a long day to wear a mask for that amount of time in the heat. ....
