The Fairfield City Council will meet in regular session tonight at 6 p.m., with a public hearing on Rezoning of Property to be held prior to the meeting at 5:50 p.m. Items on the agenda include properties owned by the city up for condemnation; appearing on the Community Connection, Mayor Mike Dreith spoke about the situation regarding condemned properties in the city. Also on the agenda will be the purchase of used vehicles for the Police Department as well as the sale of two used police vehicles. Another topic of interest in the meeting will be a response to recent social media posts regarding the condition and maintenance of the cemetery.
