After a Frisco pastor made national headlines for his statements during a Sunday service just days after insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol, city leaders denounced his comments, and several residents expressed fears that Christian nationalism has infiltrated their community.

A Frisco resident said he is worried about the city’s future after three City Council members dismissed an ethics complaint he filed against Mayor Jeff Cheney and three other members.
In the complaint filed last month, Martin Woodward requested that Cheney, John Keating, Brian Livingston and Dan Stricklin be removed from office for not following the state mask mandate or the city’s COVID-19 emergency order. ....
