About a month after it seemed he would be returning to the program, Cedric Russell is reportedly hitting the transfer portal.
Louisiana basketball guard Cedric Russell, a first-team All-Sun Belt selection last season, has entered the transfer portal, @on3sports has learned. Ranked third in the Sun Belt in scoring (17.2 points per game) and ranked 19th nationally with 76 made 3-pointers. Matt Zenitz (@mzenitz) June 30, 2021
The Alexandria native was named first-team All-Sun Belt this past season and was one of the top three-point shooters in the country.
