Pella Regional Health Center recently earned a 5-star rating for overall hospital quality from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Pella Regional is one of only twelve 5-star hospitals in the state of Iowa and the only one in Pella Regional’s 11 county service area. “At Pella Regional, we are committed to providing the best care to each and every patient,” said Bob Kroese, CEO. “We are honored to receive a 5-star ranking from CMS and I would like to thank our providers and staff for the outstanding quality of health care they provide to our patients.” CMS assigns stars based on 48 measures in five categories: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care.
