ZAGREB,  18 April, 2021 (Hina) – The Croatian government this past week adopted a report on the implementation of the 2020 Fire Protection Action Plan, with Defence Minister Mario Banožić thanking members of the Croatian Army (HV) and everyone else who contributed to making the fire season successful.

As reported on Tuesday, Croatia will not be able to obtain fighter jets before its MiGs become obsolete, meaning it will probably be forced, as EURACTIV’s partner Jutarnji list predicted, to request help from an allied country.
This prediction was confirmed by Banožić, who said there will be a gap between the time the old planes are no longer operation and the coming of new aeroplanes. ....
