LONDON, May 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Pots & Co, the London-based premium dessert company known for its exceptional handmade desserts, is expanding its reach in the U.S. and is now available in three Kroger banner stores Ralphs, Smith s, and King Soopers throughout Arizona, Southern California, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and New Mexico. Pots & Co s expansion throughout the West Coast and Rocky Mountain region comes on the heels of a recent $20m investment by 301 INC, the venture capital arm of General Mills, marking its first investment in a U.K. company.

On paper at least, Dyer - who makes individually-packaged desserts from chocolate fudge lava cake, to salted caramel & chocolate pot de crème in signature ceramic pots - has been doing something right:
Pots & Co - which launched in 2012 - notched up sales of $2.8m in 2014, and by 2020, it clocked up a cool $19.5m.

Posh pudding brand Pots & Co is set to expand its US offering after receiving an investment by General Mills-owned 301 Inc of up to £15m.
The venture capital arm of General Mills is leading a multistage investment in Pots & Co as part of a growth strategy to expand its product range and distribution in the US. The move marks General Mills’ first investment in a UK company, it said.
London-based Pots & Co will initially supply its range of potted puddings to a select number of stores on the West Coast and Rocky Mountain region. Its recently launched savoury Mezze style dips will follow.
