SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. The pandemic has shed light on the crucial role and sacrifices of nurses worldwide. Patricia Donohoe from the Nightingale 2030 Resilience Fund joined us to discuss how the organization is working to support, empower and celebrate nurses at all levels of their career. She added, 2020 is the ‘Year of the Nurse and Midwife’ in celebration of Florence Nightingale’s 200th birthday. The Nightingale 2030 Resilience Fund is also encouraging the general public to join a social media campaign called #ThankANurse. Participants are asked to make a short video sharing an experience with a nurse who has had an impact on your life or simply say, ‘thank you.‘ ....
