Medanta hospital has a capacity of 500 beds, but the hospital has no oxygen supply. Agencies The high court has also directed the state government to ensure round-the-clock supply of oxygen and submit fresh reports. The experts committee set up by the Patna High Court submitted its report before the judges wherein it has found many loopholes in the action plan of the state government to fight the corona infection.

Seventy-five years later, Gandhian scholars and his admirers are now concerned over the fate of the over 100-year-old Bankipore General Hospital building in which the operation took place on May 15, 1947, and other heritage structures of the PMCH Bihar and Odisha s first medical college which are set to be demolished as part of a mega redevelopment project.
