The College of the Canyons Theatre Department’s devised production “Virtuality: the 2020 Tournaments” was presented at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) for Region 8 held Feb. 10 – 13. The pre-recorded production, which examines the pandemic along the backdrop of protests, politics and the ever-thinning line between news and entertainment, was one of three invited college productions. “It was a huge honor,” said COC theatre instructor Susan Hinshaw. “The students have worked so incredibly hard and did whatever was necessary to bring their very ambitious vision to life. Peter Green and Abigail Thomas, who are both employed by the Romford Business Improvement District (BID), have been helping people to understand and follow the current lockdown restrictions. Covid marshals encourage people to wear face masks and maintain social distancing in public places.
