The city of Busselton, on the coast of Western Australia, awaits the arrival of 3,000 tonnes of concrete and steel whales that have invaded the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. Bustleton Jetty Chairman Barry House says: “This is as authentic as it gets, because people are in the tank and the fish are looking in. Chairman House goes on to say that, This is an exciting stage of the project, to get feedback on the design that will be a catalyst for drawing people to Western Australia from all over the world, especially those who love the ocean. ....
Spanning 80 hectares, the site will also have its own internal access roads and car park. Furthermore, developers are keen to maintain an environmentally friendly focus, with plans specifying low carbon energy generation.
