Paying it forward: Oak Cliff teacher donates stimulus funds to brighten the day of a homeless man
He recruited local business leaders who also pitched in.

Ivan Loza, 27, likes watching YouTube videos by MrBeast, David Dobrik and others giving away thousands of dollars and pricey gifts to random strangers.
It gave him an idea: Might a video of himself using most of his $600 stimulus check the second he has received to help a homeless person inspire others to share some of theirs?
As a preview for what’s to come, “Saturday Night Live” opened the show with a mock sports broadcast that ridiculed the efforts of advertisers to present themselves as socially conscious and tackled current issues dividing the nation.

Saturday Night Live opens with a scattershot sketch about the Super Bowl. On CBS’s pre-game show, host James Brown (Kenan Thompson) – “no, not that one”–and panel emphasize how diverse Sunday’s program will be.
In the spirit of the NFL’s recent outreach to children via Nickelodeon, the game will also air on Bravo, where it’s being advertised as Old Hag versus Young Slut. The commercials will also attempt to appeal to all sides of America: a Cheeze-It ad invokes the Civil Rights and Black Live Matter movements, while one for Papa John’s Pizza promises “No child sex trafficking in the basement.”
