PUTRAJAYA: A Covid-19 outbreak at an old folks home in Jerteh, Terengganu has resulted in the discovery of 25 cases within the cluster. Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the outbreak is one of the country’s 24 new clusters identified on Thursday (May 20). The old folks home is located in Kampung Tok Dor in Jerteh and the positive cases involve the facility’s residents as well as its staff. The index case is a 76-year-old woman who tested positive on May 16 after she developed symptoms three days earlier. So far, 63 individuals linked to the cluster have been screened. ....
